Australian Wardens in Seychelles

We were delighted to inaugurate our new Warden network in the Seychelles on 12 September at the Banyon Tree Hotel in Mahe. Our Warden network is a very important extension of the Australian presence in the South West Indian Ocean islands. In times of consular concern, we are able to quickly disseminate the Australian High Commission. The easiest way of doing this is on-line, through www.smartraveller.gov.au or via our embassy website, www.mauritius.embassy.gov.au.

There are a number of benefits of this. It means that not only the post, but also the Consular officials in Canberra, can pass on information to all those Aussies registered with us. It also means that you will receive either electronically or by print copy (depending on your choice) our quarterly newsletters which provide a wealth of interesting local and regional information.
