Australian High Commissioner to Mauritius, Her Excellency Ms Kate Chamley
Ms Chamley is a career officer with the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT).
Prior to her posting to Mauritius, Ms Chamley was a Special Adviser in DFAT’s Foreign Arrangements Branch. Ms Chamley has experience in foreign policy, corporate governance, international development, and crisis management. She has served overseas in Ethiopia, Kiribati, and Pakistan.
Before joining DFAT, Ms Chamley successively served as an Assistant Director at both the Attorney-General Department and Australian Agency for International Development (AusAID), based in Canberra, Australia.
Ms Chamley holds a Master of Arts (International Relations) from the Australian National University and a Bachelor of Arts (International Studies) from RMIT University.
