Australian Charge d'Affaires to Mauritius, Ms Katie Lalor
Ms Lalor is a career officer with the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT).
Prior to her posting to Mauritius, Katie worked in consular communication including managing DFAT’s Smartraveller campaign. A public diplomacy and communications expert, she has delivered a number of projects that have helped advance the Government’s foreign policy. She was also the business engagement lead in DFAT’s Western Australia State Office.
Before joining the department, Katie worked for many years in the media, mostly with Australia’s national broadcaster, the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC).
