Australian Alumni in Seychelles and Mauritius

During a recent visit to the Seychelles by the HOM, we took pride in inaugurating our Seychelles Alumni Chapter. Seven former Australian University Alumni and their partners shared a drink with the Australian High Commissioner at the Wharf Hotel and Marina on 11 September. It was agreed that we should continue with the tradition in the future. We look forward to another Alumni get-together to coincide with the inaugural Australian Film Festival to be held in the Seychelles at the end of February 2007.

We have continued our efforts to attract Australian Alumni in Mauritius to our major High Commission events. The most recent gathering was at the opening of our Aboriginal “Kickin’ Up Dust” Exhibition at Blue Penny Museum. It was a pleasure to welcome some new faces to this event.
