Australia is attracting even more international students.

An increasing number of Mauritian students are choosing Australia for further studies at post-secondary level. They form part of an impressive group of (close to 345,000) international students who enrolled for studies in Australia in 2005 – and this figure is growing steadily.

The Austrade office here, in Port Louis, Mauritius, is delighted with the excellent response to the launch of its education website for students of the region, at the end of 2005 ( www.austudy-africa.com).

For more information, students are warmly invited to visit the Student Information Centre! This Information Centre is the place to check out university prospectuses, course guides, and the websites of Australian schools and colleges. It is located at the Australian High Commission in Port Louis and is open on weekdays between 8.30 a.m. and 3.45 p.m.
